What is promise? Who can make promise? How and when to make it?

I met a person, he made promise many times and by many different ways. 

When he is going to break his promise, I will play the voice record for him to remind him. 

But all in vain. Finally I give up. Not only close the relationship with him, but also blocked him in my life.

I am not good at making promises, but if you do, please take it seriously. 

If you are a asshole,  just perform like it, I will choose to leave or stay, but do not pretend you are an gentleman. 

Really disgusting. I had a bad experience on Feb 12th 2019, it’s absolutely a nightmare.

Lucky, I get rid of it now.
